Hi, hello, hiya, hey, and welcome to my blog! My name is Jenny and I’m a 21 year old living in Nottingham, UK. I’m currently a stay-at-home dog mum (thats a thing right? If not I’m making it a thing!) and now I’m a lifestyle/Disney/Travel blogger with the potential for a Youtube channel in the future.

I’m a full time wheelchair user due to being a lower limb paraplegic, lover of all things Disney, and I’m here to share with you all the adventures I have as well as the occasional lifestyle post and review along the way. I post new posts every  Monday and Thursday, hopefully you’ll come back and see what I’ve got to say!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jenny xx

A litte bit more about me:
Why did I start blogging?
I found myself constantly googling questions to do with being a wheelchair user and traveling/day to day life help and never being able to find an answer or if I did it was really outdated, so I thought I’d help to fill that gap in the market.

Why blogging and not YouTube?
I suffer quite badly from anxiety and didn’t feel I was quite ready for YouTube; however I am going to be vlogging my Disney World trip in June (2016), so who knows, I might take a liking to it!

How did I come to be in a wheelchair?
Long story short, I suffer from epilepsy, non-epileptic seizures, and a neurological condition called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). In November 2014 I suffered a 4 hour long seizure, otherwise known as status epilepticus, and had to be put into an induced coma for 3 days. When I came round from the coma, over the next week it became apparent I had become paralysed in both my legs; it is thought that the seizure brought on the FND which is causing the paralysis.

What is FND?
It is a neurological condition that causes disturbances in the brains ability to send and receive signals. There hasn’t been much research into the condition and how to treat it, which it why it is rarely heard of (before I was diagnosed I had never heard of it!), and can be very difficult to treat. I’ll leave the link to the FND page so you can fid out more if you want to :http://fndhope.org

In a relationship?
Yep, with my boyfriend of 3 and a half years.

What wheelchair do I have?
The Quickie Argon2 in the most beautiful cyan colour! I never thought it was possible to love a wheelchair, but now i’m reliant on it, I’ve got to make sure it looks HOT!

If you have any more questions you would like to ask me, just comment and ask away!

See ya soon,

Jenny xx
